Center for Infrastructure Modeling and Management, Inc.

Improving urban infrastructure through community-driven research and development and technology transfer

The Center for Infrastructure Modeling and Management, Inc. (CIMM) is a nonprofit research and development and technology transfer center

Our mission is to provide a space where infrastructure managers, designers, and researchers can come together to advance infrastructure management tools for the betterment of all.

There is no better and challenging time to be an infrastructure technologist

With the continuing advances in computational capabilities, rapid increases in volumes of data on infrastructure characteristics, and the need to use these assets to find cost-effective solutions for aging infrastructure, there has never been a higher need for innovators to create the toolbox of the future!

Ready to take the next step?

CIMM is a nonaligned, community-governed, and a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. As such, CIMM represents a unbiased place for the worldwide community of infrastructure professionals to come together and deliver solutions to common problems that need the leverage of many to accomplish.

As professionals, we all face common challenges to serve society well. Imagine if we, as a community of infrastructure managers, practitioners, and researchers, can come together to develop and advocate research priorities. Think of how new solutions and technologies would accelerate. CIMM’s goal is to facilitate that, with no bias as to who does the work. Because there are plenty of challenges to go around and, in the end, everyone benefits from each other.
