Ben R. Hodges, Ph.D., P.E.

Dr. Hodges is the Principal Investigator for the National Center for Infrastructure Modeling and Management (NCIMM) and is the Director of Research for CIMM, Inc. He is a tenured Professor in the Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering Department (CAEE) at the University of Texas at Austin. His research is focused on water flow in natural and man-made environments, and his esearch contributions includenew computational methods for efficient simulation models, and geospatial analyses for translating high-resolution data (e.g. lidar) to practical model scales.

Bob Brashear, Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE

Dr. Brashear is a Co-Principal Investigator for NCIMM and is the Director of Operations for NCIMM. He is also President of the nonprofit CIMM, Inc. He is an engineer with a broad-based background in civil, water resources, and environmental engineering. Dr. Brashear’s experience over his 30 years in consulting includes infrastructure planning and design, water supply planning, water quality planning and permitting, energy management, environmental assessments and permitting, treatment process design, design of US Army Corps of Engineers civil works, and water-related research and development.
