NCIMM Team
CIMM began as the National Center for Infrastructure Modeling and Management which was established by a 5-year grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency*
The Vision.
Bring together preeminent researchers and practitioners to provide sustainable research, development and outreach for water infrastructure modeling, initially focusing on two foremost modeling tools – known around the world by the acronyms EPA SWMM and EPANET.
Researchers.
Led by Principal Investigator, Dr. Ben Hodges at the Center for Water and Environment at the University of Texas at Austin, the research team includes researchers from Texas Tech University, Brigham Young University, and North Carolina State among others.
Practitioners.
The Urban Watersheds Research Institute (UWRI) is UT Austin’s primary partner with its mission to facilitate the Center’s interaction with urban infrastructure practitioners. Dr. Bob Brashear serves as Co-Principal Investigator with Dr. Hodges.
Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC)
CIMM is grateful to have the volunteer efforts of the following internationally recognized infrastructure researchers, technologists, and practitioners supporting us as our SAC.
